Time is running out for Georgia jurists aspiring to become judges to submit nominations for a seat on the Douglas County Superior Court bench.
The State Bar of Georgia took to Twitter to remind its more than 40,000 active members of the opportunity, noting the Judicial Nominating Commission for the State of Georgia's fast approaching Nov. 12 nominations deadline.

Judge hopefuls opting to apply directly, on the other hand, have until Nov. 22 to submit applications, according to the Judicial Nominating Commission.
