A Fulton County jury awarded $1.2 million to a young motorcyclist injured when an Atlanta police detective tried to whip his unmarked car around in a U-turn but couldn’t quite make it, and backed up directly into the plaintiff’s path. 

Terrence Holt was thrown over the handlebars and suffered a deep wound and tendon damage in his thigh and other injuries to his arm, hand and scrotum and still has tenderness in the groin area.
