Litigators expect more lawsuits this week, as the death toll climbs after a crowd surge at a concert left thousands without adequate access to escape routes.

Sunday, a 9-year-old boy became the 10th concertgoer to die from injuries sustained at the Astroworld music festival in Houston, after a crushing crowd of 50,000 fans pushed its way forward, trapping those closest to the stage. The fatal incident happened during a performance by the festival’s headliner, rapper Travis Scott, on Nov. 5.
