The Supreme Court of Georgia will celebrate its 175th anniversary in December with two events to highlight its history and impact on the state.

“It has a long and rich history, and I think it is important that we find occasions to take a good look at what’s gone before us. … These are good things for us lawyers and judges—to see where we came from,” said John Bell Jr., president of the Georgia Legal History Foundation, which is hosting the events.
