Alston & Bird partners Matthew W. Howell and Wesley C. Achey have stepped in as defense counsel to Sweden's Envirotainer AB and its U.S. subsidiary in a pending patent infringement lawsuit. The case was filed Sept. 9 in Georgia Northern District Court by Fenwick & West and Arnall Golden Gregory on behalf of CSafe Global, a developer of cold chain shipping containers for pharmaceutical transport. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Steve C. Jones, is 1:21-cv-03749, DoubleDay Acquisitions LLC v. Envirotainer AB et al.
