It's the last day to nominate Georgia jurists for the 21st Annual Justice Robert Benham Awards for Community Service.

With the awards ceremony slated for March 19, organizers tweeted a final call for jurists and the public to submit judges' and lawyers' names for community and public service award consideration.

Who's Eligible

Put on by the Chief Justice's Commission On Professionalism in conjunction with the State Bar of Georgia, the awards aim to highlight community and public service carried out by jurists outside of their official duties.

The 20th annual Justice Robert Benham Awards for Community Service were presented March 9 at Georgia State University. Since 1998, these awards have been presented to honor lawyers and judges in Georgia who have made significant contributions to their communities and demonstrate the positive contributions of members of the State Bar of Georgia beyond their legal or official work.
