A federal judge on Thursday ordered Sidney Powell, L. Lin Wood and other attorneys sanctioned over a failed 2020 election lawsuit to cover more than $175,000 in legal costs for lawyers for the state of Michigan and the city of Detroit.

U.S. District Judge Linda Parker earlier this year sanctioned the attorneys over the election challenge, which included a requirement to cover the Detroit and Michigan lawyers’ fees. In Thursday’s ruling, Parker largely granted the fee requests submitted by those lawyers.
