As the COVID-19 omicron variant continues to spread nationwide, the exposure of a jury pool at the Edward W. Brooke Courthouse in Boston, Massachusetts, has reignited safety concerns, as courts schedule in-person proceedings for the new year.
That has prompted potential jurors, like film director Jeff Israel, to express concerns about their health and safety. Israel tweeted, "Well I've found the worst way to potentially have been exposed to COVID."
