After more than three decades of service, a staple in the Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit has hung up her black robe.

As DeKalb County Superior Court Judge Linda Warren Hunter now settles into her first week of retirement, jurists interested in applying for the vacancy created by her Dec. 31 resignation must submit applications to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the State of Georgia by Friday.
