Georgia has now become the latest state to sign on to the latest global opioid-maker settlement.
After initially holding out for a better deal, Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr has now said he has signed on to the $26 billion multistate agreement with four drug companies that North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein announced in July.
