Two weeks into the 2022 election year, campaign season is getting underway in Georgia with a prominent lawyer announcing her campaign to become an appellate judge.

State Bar of Georgia president Elizabeth L. Fite is running for the Georgia Court of Appeals. The Rogers & Fite litigator will challenge Georgia Court of Appeals newcomer Andrew A. Pinson, whom Gov. Brian Kemp appointed in July.
