Canadian National Railway was hit with a lawsuit Thursday in Georgia Middle District Court seeking payment for mileage allowances on privately leased rail cars. The court action was filed by GKG Law and Jones Cork LLP on behalf of Thiele Kaolin Co., which contends that, since the defendant has failed to provide the proper amount of rail cars, Thiele is entitled to compensation for the defendant’s use of Thiele equipment. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 5:22-cv-00026, Thiele Kaolin Company v. Canadian National Railway Company.
