The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit has reversed and remanded a district court ruling denying a retired Navy veteran temporary disability insurance benefits.

The federal appellate court found the denial hinged on an inference made in error by an administrative law judge, which the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia later supported on appeal.
