MetLife was slapped with an interpleader lawsuit Tuesday in Georgia Northern District Court. The suit, filed by Freed Grant LLC and Interpleader Law on behalf of Kendra Johnson, seeks to determine the proper beneficiary of a life insurance policy. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:22-cv-00306, Johnson v. Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.
