Drew Eckl & Farnham and Robinson & Henry filed a lawsuit Monday in Georgia Northern District Court on behalf of elevator and escalator consulting firm Lerch Bates Inc. The complaint, against Lloyd Alvin, accuses Alvin of creating a similar and fraudulent website using the 'Lerch Bates' trademark to misdirect $15,906.38 in funds from a Lerch Bates client. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 4:22-cv-00030, Lerch Bates, Inc. v. Alvin.
