The latest round of judicial musical chairs has nixed a State Bar of Georgia president’s opportunity to challenge a 35-year-old incumbent in a run for the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Gov. Brian Kemp announced he’s appointing Judge Andrew A. Pinson, 35, to the Supreme Court of Georgia, and filling Pinson’s Georgia Court of Appeals vacancy with the appointment of Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit Superior Court Judge Ben Land.
