Qualifying for Georgia's attorney general and judicial candidates in the May 24 primary election closed Friday with a whimper after only one hopeful entered the race, according to the Georgia Secretary of State's website.

No attorney general candidates qualified Friday after five did so earlier in the week. The primary field is now set, with incumbent Chris Carr battling John Gordon in the Republican primary and Jen Jordan and Christian Wise Smith facing off in the Democratic race.
