Thousands of workers have quit their jobs and explored new opportunities under the “Great Resignation” mindset during the pandemic.

While the legal industry has already seen departures, some say the idea of a “Great Resignation” in law firms is overblown. Instead, law firm leaders and recruiters say the last two years have resulted in more shuffling of attorneys between law firms and other legal workplaces, but not necessarily outside the law.
