Firm leaders said they had hoped to reach $1 billion in gross revenue last year, though they budgeted for more meager gains, not knowing what the continued COVID-19 pandemic would mean for the legal services industry. They added the firm’s financial success indicates windfall fortunes ahead, since legacy firms Troutman Sanders of Atlanta and Pepper Hamilton of Philadelphia carried out a mega-merger in mid-2020.
