A Gwinnett County State Court jury returned a verdict of $6.3 million Friday for a woman hurt in a crash on West Paces Ferry Road in Buckhead. But with pre-lawsuit interest, the final judgment signed Monday was $7.3 million.
J. Matthew Dwyer Jr. of Dwyer Law and James Neuberger of Neuberger Law in Atlanta represented Patricia Ann Carr. She suffered a crushing spinal injury in a wreck at 6:24 a.m. on April 14, 2016, near the entrance to the Cherokee Town & Country Club, according to court records. The complaint alleged Jenny Jung Ah Yim turned left into Carr's path, causing a "violent collision."
