On the heels of the Biden administration announcing an extended delay on federal student loan repayments through Aug. 31, a tweet by U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) calling for the cancellation of all student debt has gone viral. Now attorneys are weighing in on how they’ve been handling law school debt, for how long and what they think about canceling student debt altogether.

“Cancel student debt,” Sanders tweeted. “All of it.”
