Jeffery DeArman, who most recently served as chief legal officer of a family-owned business in Birmingham, Alabama, has joined Morris, Manning & Martin in its commercial real estate group.

The hiring continues Morris Manning’s growth in revenue and head count. Morris Manning saw a 9.7% revenue rise last year and an 8.7% growth in total lawyer head count. The firm said it added 50 lawyers last year, including Dan Weede in the firm’s commercial real estate practice and Michael Young in its cyber practice.
