Throughout the state, Georgians can now carry handguns in public without a license or background check, thanks to Gov. Brian Kemp signing Senate Bill 319 into law Tuesday.

It’s been coined the Constitutional Carry law, but it’s drawing mixed reactions, including from the state’s top lawyer and those running against him in the May 24 primary election for the Office of Attorney General of Georgia.
