A popular Atlanta strip club is off the hook, after a patron shot in its parking lot tried to loop the adult entertainment venue into his premise liability and negligence lawsuit against the Atlanta police officer who injured him.

A reversal handed down by the Georgia Court of Appeals grants full summary judgment for a group of defendants doing business as Magic City. It indicates premise and business owners who accurately report crimes to law enforcement aren’t liable for the officer’s subsequent actions, according to defense counsel.
