Lawyers at Weinberg, Wheeler, Hudgins, Gunn & Dial on Thursday removed an insurance coverage lawsuit against AIG subsidiary National Union Fire Insurance Company to Georgia Northern District Court. The suit, filed by Bloom Parham LLP on behalf of Tribridge Residential, contends that the defendant has failed to reimburse the plaintiff $1.6 million in losses resulting from a Tribridge employee being tricked by a targeted email phishing scam into transferring funds out of Tribridge bank account. The case is 1:22-cv-01451, Tribridge Residential, LLC v. National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, PA.
