Georgia Power, a subsidiary of Southern Company, removed a wrongful death lawsuit to Georgia Middle District Court on Friday. The suit was filed by the Butler Law Firm by the parents of contractor who died while performing work on Georgia Power's Lake Oliver dam. The case is 4:22-cv-00081, Paxton et al v. Georgia Power Company.
