Counsel at McDonald Hopkins and Weinberg, Wheeler, Hudgins, Gunn & Dial on Tuesday removed a biometric privacy class action against human resource management software provider Lathem Time Co. to Georgia Northern District Court. The suit, filed by Stephan Zouras LLP; Goodmark Law Firm; the Law Offices of Gerry Weber and Peiffer Wolf Carr Kane & Conway, contends that the defendant scans and stores facial geometry data of employees in violation of the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act. The case is 1:22-cv-01748, Bray v. Lathem Time Co.
