Metro Atlanta plaintiff lawyer Bob Cheeley of Cheeley Law Group led a team that secured a $40 million verdict in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for a business dispute over control of a company that makes food product wrappings.
Now Cheeley—whose firm is based in Alpharetta, Georgia—will have to battle to preserve the award, with the other side's lead counsel saying he'll file a motion to set aside the verdict by Friday.
