"[The appellant] seeks monetary damages based on his claims that [the probate judge] violated his fundamental right to bear arms under the United States and Georgia constitutions by refusing to issue the GWCL after the superior court granted his writ of mandamus," read the Georgia Court of Appeals decision. "But both of these claims of alleged constitutional violations are barred by the doctrine of judicial immunity."
