A DeKalb County Superior Court judge has cleared the way for a lawsuit against a Georgia personal injury lawyer brought by former clients he represented in a case over a hit-and-run car accident in 2014.

The suit alleges fraud and breach of fiduciary duties against Sean Campbell of Champion Law Group for failing to have a defendant served before the statute of limitations expired, ultimately leading the trial court to dismiss the case with prejudice. The suit further alleges Campbell did not communicate with his clients about what happened in the case.
