Jeffrey Leavitt, a partner with DLA Piper in Atlanta, was honored for his role in a flurry of deals last year.
According to his nominator's essay, Leavitt's 2021 deals include:
- Representing Salesloft, an Atlanta-based sales engagement software company, in the financing and acquisition of a majority stake in the company by Vista Equity Partners, valuing Salesloft at $2.3 billion. He has advised Salesloft as company counsel since its earliest days of development, including negotiating and managing its $100 million Series E round in 2021 and its $70 million Series D round in 2019. (December 2021).
- Representing 4G Clinical in a growth equity investment of over $230 million from Goldman Sachs Asset Management (July 2021).
- Representing Atlanta-based FullStory, a leader in digital experience intelligence (DXI), in its oversubscribed $103 million Series D financing led by Permira valuing the company at $1.8 billion. (August 2021).
- Representing RoadSync in its $30 million Series B financing led by Tiger Global (June 2021).
- Representing PICKUP in its $15 million Series B financing (March 2021).

The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
