As soon as the U.S. Supreme Court reversed Roe v. Wade on Friday, Georgia Solicitor General Stephen J. Petrany asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit to reverse a decision blocking the state’s abortion ban.

Petrany told the federal appeals court the ruling “requires reversal of the district court’s injunction” against the abortion ban and “judgment in favor of the State.”
