President Joe Biden nominated Delaware Supreme Court Justice Tamika Renee Montgomery-Reeves, a University of Georgia School of Law grad, to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit Wednesday.

Montgomery-Reeves has served on the state court since 2019, and before that was vice chancellor of the Delaware Court of Chancery for four years. She was the first Black judge to ever sit on the Delaware Supreme Court.
