Months after Atlanta attorney W. Scott Smith declared, “I win no matter what” during oral arguments before the Georgia Court of Appeals, his litigation team has secured a victory for a pro bono client in the form of an appellate reversal.

Having partnered with Atlanta attorney M. Kyle Winchester and Georgia State University College of Law student Beth Goldstein, the trio’s check in the win column vindicates Sammy Lee Grimes, after the state improperly revoked his probation without affording him an opportunity to confront his accusers, per the intermediate appellate ruling.
