Congratulations to exceptional [Cobb County] prosecutor Linda Dunikoski, [the Daily Report's] Attorney of the Year, and her team for exceptionally prosecuting the Ahmaud Arbery murder case. Kudos, also, to Cobb District Attorney Flynn Broady, who authorized the prosecution by his office.
Special congratulations to [Chatham County Superior Court] Judge Timothy Walmsley, who presided over this most demanding trial with extraordinary fairness, firmness and finesse. Judge Walmsley's temperate, controlled and even-handed manner, along with Dunikoski's prosecutorial team—under international scrutiny—were key to this most meaningful conviction.
