They’ve stepped in to help countless domestic violence victims unable to afford legal services. Now, help is on the way for six Georgia nonprofits to the tune of more than $3.6 million.

The Judicial Council of Georgia Standing Committee on Grants has awarded more than $2.9 million in domestic violence grants to the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Cherokee Family Violence Center, Gateway House, Georgia Legal Services Program, N.O.A.’s Ark and Northwest Georgia Family Crisis Center.
