Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp named a new judge Friday for the Augusta Judicial Circuit.
Robert W. "Bo" Hunter III will fill the vacancy on the Richmond County State Court created by Judge Patricia Booker's retirement in April, Kemp's office announced. Booker had served the court for 14 years and announced her plans to retire as she approached her 70th birthday.
