The State Bar of Georgia congratulates Justice Michael P. Boggs on his recent installation as chief justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia.

Chief Justice Boggs will be well served in his new position by his 32 years of experience in the legal profession and justice system, including the past six years as a justice on the Supreme Court and his previous service as a judge of the Court of Appeals of Georgia and, before that, the Waycross Judicial Circuit Superior Court. A dedicated public servant, Boggs also served as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, as a county attorney and special assistant attorney general.
