William J. Holley II and Scott Zweigel of Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs have stepped in to defend Jeffrey S. Lorberbaum in a pending securities lawsuit. The complaint was filed April 26 in Georgia Northern District Court by Lowenstein Sandler and McCamy Phillips Tuggle & Fordham on behalf of Fir Tree Value Master Fund L.P., which accuses Mohawk Industries Inc. and other defendants of fraudulently misleading investors regarding the company’s financial prospects by participating in deceptive sales practices to cover the decline in demand of its “luxury vinyl tile” business. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Victoria M Calvert, is 4:22-cv-00098, Fir Tree Value Master Fund L.P. v. Mohawk Industries Inc. et al.
