Lawyers at Hawkins Parnell & Young on Friday removed a lawsuit alleging breach of oral contract against law firm Margolin and Lawrence to Georgia Southern District Court. The suit was filed by Moore Ingram Johnson & Steel on behalf of agricultural real estate operators Allen Ruiz and Bryan Ruiz, who commissioned the defendant to procure a license to cultivate hemp. The plaintiffs accuse the defendant of excessive billing of hours, and failing to obtain the license and related permits. The case is 6:22-cv-00058, Ruiz et al v. Margolin et al.
