A woman who worked as a civilian at a Georgia Marine Corps base is suing the military, claiming she was subjected to sexual harassment, sex and race discrimination and retaliation while working there.

Kimberly Gibson, who worked as the behavioral health manager at the Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany starting in 2020, sued Navy Secretary Carlos Del Toro. The Marines Corps falls under the Navy’s purview. The suit, which was filed July 8 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, includes claims for Title VII violations of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
