The Court of Criminal Appeals of Texas has ruled 5-4 to quash a subpoena ordering an attorney for former President Donald Trump to testify before the Fulton County grand jury investigating possible illegal efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.

Jacki Pick, a Trump lawyer and podcast host, had accused election workers of pulling suitcases filled with fraudulent ballots out from under a table at State Farm Arena in November 2020 during a presidential election recount. But state officials confirmed the suitcases were actually sealed ballot containers that were placed properly.
