Over the past several years, Zoom and hybrid mediations have become more and more popular. What started out as a way to mediate cases during the pandemic has evolved into a process that appears to be here for the long term.

Traditionally, mediation was done in person, where all parties, lawyers and the mediators were at the same location. While in-person mediations have made a return, many Zoom mediations and hybrid mediations are still taking place due to a variety of reasons. There are both benefits and obstacles that are created by conducting a Zoom mediation.
