After scheduling conflicts paused ethics proceedings for Christian Coomer for two weeks, the suspended Georgia Court of Appeals judge will return to court Nov. 9 after filing a motion for directed verdict.

Coomer is now seeking to dismiss all but three of the 36 counts of alleged judicial misconduct outlined by the Judicial Qualifications Commission of Georgia in amended formal charges announced in March.
