From his use of campaign funds to credit card charges, money has been at the center of the the Judicial Qualifications Commission of Georgia’s ethics investigation against suspended Georgia Court of Appeals Judge Christian Coomer.

As scheduling conflicts continue to pause the defendant’s judicial misconduct proceedings until Wednesday, legal ethics experts are weighing in on the likelihood of the defendant judge having to repay the salary he’s been paid while suspended, if the court finds he violated the Georgia Code of Judicial Conduct.
