Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart’s move into Salt Lake City this month is the latest indication that demand for labor and employment expertise is growing, particularly in smaller and emerging U. S. markets.

About 53% of law firm leaders, in a recent survey, anticipated moderate or high growth levels in employment law billings in 2023, the fifth-highest mark among practice areas, according to the 2022 Law Firm Business Leaders Report, published in the last week.
