Judicial misconduct proceedings for suspended Georgia Court of Appeals Judge Christian Coomer are set to resume Dec. 21, now that Coomer’s attempt to dismiss the bulk of allegations in his ethics case has failed.

The Judicial Qualifications Commission of Georgia Hearing Panel denied Coomer’s motion for directed verdict on 33 of his 36 alleged charges of judicial misconduct.
