One month after receiving a shortlist of four finalists, Gov. Brian Kemp has appointed Inspector General Scott F. McAfee to the Fulton County Superior Court bench.

McAfee fills a vacancy created by the Dec. 1 retirement of Chief Judge Christopher S. Brasher, following Brasher’s 16 years of service on the superior court.
