Real estate practices bolstered many Atlanta law firms in 2022, while firms expect litigation practices to pick up in 2023, especially during any economic downturn.
Nationally, M&A and corporate practice demand fell across the country, as global M&A fell 34% by the third-quarter mark of the year. Still, some Southeast law firm leaders said their corporate practices were busy in the last year, albeit just down from 2021.
