'Plausibility vs. Precision': Georgia Lawyers and Experts Weigh Ethics of ChatGPT
Paula Frederick, general counsel at the State Bar of Georgia, said that, just this week, the Georgia bar's ethics hotline had their first instance of a lawyer getting in trouble in court for submitting an incorrect document without citations and laying the blame on ChatGPT.

Jennifer Romig, a legal writing professor at Emory University School of Law, probably won't be giving take-home tests anymore. "Anyone who deals with writing and the production of words and the exchange of words is freaking out right now," Romig said.
The reason for being upset is ChatGPT, the prompt engineer that has disrupted the world of the written word. The software promises a massive increase in convenience and efficiency with the potential to muddy the waters of plagiarism and infringe on people's livelihoods.
